After an awkward yet memorable encounter at a stag party, Evo (Richard Gutierrez) and Grace (Marian Rivera) thought they would never see each other again. Little did they know that Grace is actually the girlfriend of Evo’s best friend, Mark (‘JC de Vera’ ). As the arrogant player that he is, Evo takes advantage of what happened at the party to make Grace agree to his demands. He forces Grace to pretend as his girlfriend to make Akiko (Ehra Madrigal), his ex, jealous. But, they will accidentally fall in love to each other.
Who would miss an overflowing burst of cliche but this one! I would commend this movie as one of those rare Filipino romance next to Close to You. Marian Rivera was very stunning. She was beautiful and overwhelmingly impressive in her acting. I didn’t even expect Richard Guitterez to do well since I last saw him in his previous cameos.
The script was written well and the punchlines were immediately catching to the audience. The casts were also picked well as several newcomers to the big screen made their way to remarkable commencements. The plot is unique and the screenplay was also great receiving positive feedbacks from its reviewers as it grossed high nationwide.

I like the girl who played Grace, shes cute, but sometimes theres no clear picture of what her character is, she acts ignorant and bumpkin, then she reveals shes an honor student in her school and fluent in english. well maybe she was just making fun. hard to tell. anyway the plot was original pero i dont like the idea of them cheating on the bestfriend in US. OUCH! lots of funny parts though. I cant get how girls would like a guy like Evo, i mean he has no redeeming qualities, no job, although he can be “nice” sometimes”, pero hey if a guy like that can be liked, may pag asa pa ata ako? hehehe ya watch the movie, its okay it shows definite improvement in filipino films especially the actors and some scriptwriting, but still needs more. as for this blog, eto comment ko “Two thumbs up” yan =)
